Okay I went off in a tangent..  Had to stop and try to absorb all the features of tripod..

Got about six sites built with about thirty pages.  I re-organized everything.. I hid a bunch of pages but I add them back..

I would like to leave a trail here so new users can benefit from my experience.

Welcome Computer Board 2

I got this wellcome screen from tripod gallery...  There choice is limited but don't be discouraged..  There are plenty of option available on the web.  I'll provide some linkslater..

Tripod probably has more also I just haven't made it that far yet.

Try searching the web for welcome banners and see what you get.

I just came back and added the link https://bobmarcotte.tripod.com/

I just used the copy function of tripod site builder to copy this text from below

welcomebluestone.gif

Here's the first one I found I got it at http://pagemaster.freeservers.com/   Remember to upload graphics you want to use using the updoad button in the picture gallery.

graphics uploaded with file manager are not excessible.

at least I haven't figured it out yet

I just came back and added the link https://bobmarcotte.tripod.com/

I snatched this one right off this page.

You can right click on almost any web graphic save it to your disk and upload it to you sight..

Just consider what might me copyrighted..

I can't give this site builder enough credit so you will probably be seeing if often

I just came back and added a link to www.tripod.com

I just went to Internet Explorer and made my tripod home page my default page..

I expect to be spending quite a bit of time here.
